Menger Sponges
This is the very first video project that I started on. A couple months ago, I came across a site called mengermania.com, in which a guy was devoting a huge portion of his life to create a level four menger sponge. I've always been a geometry and math nerd, so using it to create a 3D object appealed to me. Well, what exactly is a menger sponge you might ask? Wikipedia does a good job of explaining it.
I initially set out to create a level two from index cards, but soon became uninterested and stopped. The following two movies show the creations of a level one from index cards, and a level two constructed from styrofoam and hot glue.
